Corrugated Fiberboard

Colors of Corrugated Fiberboard

  • Brown/Brown. Inside and outside brown color can print by Flexo printing, Offset printing, or Silk Screen printing.
  • White/Brown. One side brown and one side white (white paper can be Kraft paper or CCNB paper)
  • White/White. Double side white color (white paper can be Kraft paper or CCNB paper)
  • Full white. The corrugated liner also is white, and this corrugated cardboard IS VIRGIN WHITE.
  • Full colored. Black, red, green, or whatever you want, very few uses.

Printing Finish On Corrugated Fiberboard

Need the whole printed surface seems gloss or matt, and protect the printing ink. After all, it will make a perfect touch feel. Corrugated fiberboard boxes are examples of laminated structures, where an inner core provides rigidity and strength, and the outer layers provide a smooth surface. Laminating paper products, such as photographs, can prevent them from becoming creased, faded, water damaged, wrinkled, stained, smudged, abraded, or marked by grease or fingerprints.

Photo identification cards and credit cards are almost always laminated with plastic film. Also, lamination is needed for further finish steps like UV varnishing, spot UV, hot foil stamping, as it is a good temper material to bear all kinds of heat and handling. It is a process that the oil being widely distributed on the printed surface. The aim is to prevent the printed paper from scratch and sticker with each other.

UV is short for ultraviolet, UV Varnish, also called UV coating. A UV Varnish is a liquid coating that is applied to the surface of an unattractive surface (available in Glossy, Matt finish), which is then dried/cured with ultraviolet light. It is to make the requested printed area showed up with an eye-catching effect. After UV varnishing, the surface will be thicker than the uncoated area and seems glossy.

Metallic foil is most commonly seen today- particularly gold foil, silver foil, copper foil, and holographic metallic foils, and available colors could be chosen from our color chart.

Embossing and debossing are the processes of creating either raised or recessed designs in paper cardboard and other materials. An embossed pattern is raised against the background. Meanwhile, a debossed pattern is hollow into the surface of the paper cardboard.

Clay coated paperboard always used to be laminated on corrugated fiberboard to do nice color box offset printed, but it also can be made to a box. Yes, it needs to be high gsm to make a box. Otherwise, it will not be able to hold much weight. Gsm from 250 to 450. Any printing and any printing finish.

For different package use, Paperboard can diverse into Kraft paperboard, Virgin paperboard, Art paperboard, Specialty paperboard, and CCNB paperboard.

  • Grey Duplex board

  • HDF/MDF board
